Lace-up captoe Oxford in Horween Shell Cordovan (incl. shoe tree).
This model can be manufactured in any Cordovan colour. Please specify your preferred colour.
Featuring a bark-tanned leather sole from Rendenbach Jr. in a refined Goodyear welt-construction and calf lining.
This shoe, like all the other Carmina´s is carefully manufactured by expert craftmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869.
Style made on Forest last, one of Carmina´s oldest lasts. Rounded at the tip, smooth fitting with normal instep and generous space ta the front. The clean lines and simplicity of this shoes make them perfect to wear with suit or a Casual jacket.
FOREST
Forest is Carmina’s most archetypal and early last. With its classic and timeless design, this last seems to resist the course of time. In fact, it is the favourite last for the Albaladejo family. Proof of this is the fact that, 15 years after it was released, it is still one of the most popular lasts. Rounded toe, regular instep and more room across the forepart.

Cordovan
Shell Cordovan is a staple material of fine men’s shoemaking. Shell cordovan looks smooth, lustrous, and richly coloured in shades of burgundy, brown, and black. Shell Cordovan is a much more labour-intensive leather than cowhide. Cordovan shoe will age very well and develop a particularly beautiful patina over time. The name Shell comes from the circular shape of the skin. Today, only a few factories in the world tan shell cordovan. Rendenbach
Oak-bark tanned leather sole from John. Rendenbach ("JR") in Germany. Because of the tight grain of an oak-bark tanned leather soles, they wear longer and require more infrequent replacing. Leather with the JR-Brand label is waterproof and extremely abrasion resistant, tough yet flexible, very comfortable to wear and optically distinguished by its attractive grain and warm, woody colour.
