The leather is treated with waxes and beeswaxes with ermine-hair brushes and tinsel cloth. This is how we obtain the multi-toned polish, avoiding a uniform brilliancy and achieving the patina of a used shoe.
During this step we will also add the laces and tassels. Tassels are attached by adding a small amount of glue to the start and finish of the piece and then rolling around the aglet.
Our artisans will then manually punch the boxes with the model details and prepare the shoes for their shipment.
